Sex Education star Connor Swindells has been announced as a patron of Bowel Cancer UK.

The British actor and model, whose appointment marks Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, commented 'Being a patron of Bowel Cancer UK is very special to me. I always knew that if I made it as an actor, I would use my position to raise awareness of bowel cancer. It’s the second biggest cancer killer in the UK, but it doesn’t have to be this way - it’s treatable and curable, especially if diagnosed early'.
